The school Library
The books are divided into different sections. Our library is visited by 30 people a day. There are 850 books in the library.
The library in our school is very well-maintained and kept. It’s located on the first floor in building C. The librarians are very nice to students.
When the students need help, they always give their advice.
There are also four modern computers in the reading room, which we can use, when we want to search for information. There are a lot of clean and comfortable tables in the reading room.
There are a lot of Historical, scientific, educational and adventurous books in the library.
The librarians can copy students’ notes, because there is the copy machine.
The school canteen
In our school we have quite big school canteen. There is about 40 tables where we can eat our meals. It is spacious, bright and cosy. Walls are beige and there are painted squares on them. On the walls there hang pictures painted by teenagers of our school. Dinners are served two times per day. First time at 11:25 and second time at 12:30. Dinner is eaten daily there by approximately 50 teenagers.

School name and its history
• Our school was founded in 1995.
• It is called Dimiter Popnickilov.
• Dimiter Popnickolov was born in 1898 and graduated from University of Sofia in Pedagogy and Philosophy.
• From 1921 to 1928 he was a school director and the founder of the first Bulgarian Parents’ School Association.
• He wrote a lot of books and articles about education and was chosen to be a Member of Parliament.

• Level of education – primary, secondary and upper secondary ;
• Age of the students – 7-19 years old;
• Number of classes - 46;
• Number of students - 1088;
• Number of teachers - 86;
• Numbers of school assistants – no;
• Students study in the morning or in the afternoon.
